We are hardly worthy
Yet we are so loved
They come to us and they stay
Miracle on a daily basis
As a matter of course
The moments, the memories,
A simple wish, a half-remembered dream
There is no because, only now and here
Do you move when they touch you
Do you die when they leave
Do you see a different light
When all is scattered to the winds
Perhaps they have answers
Perhaps questions no longer matter
Not really, when you see it's not enough, it'll never be
And yet we are given so much, already, always
That to lose is to keep
To yearn is to believe
In many a lifetime
Many possible worlds melt into one
You have been loved
More than you can ever hope
It is that easy and that difficult
Mystery on a first-name basis
As a matter of fact
